🐝 $BEE · a Uniswap v4 hook

Bee loves to make honey.

Every swap is a flower. Bee brings the nectar home and turns it into honey that stays in the hive forever.

Meet Bee

A small bee with a big job.

Bee isn't here to eat honey. Bee is here to make it, one flower at a time, and keep every drop safe in the hive.

Every morning Bee puts on the red bow tie, polishes those round glasses and slings the little satchel over one shoulder. Then Bee flies from flower to flower, and every swap in the $BEE pool is a flower. From each one Bee carries a small drop of nectar home.

Back at the hive, the nectar becomes honey and goes into the comb. When a cell is full, Bee seals it with wax and starts the next. Bee never takes honey back out. A hive full of honey is the whole point.

The glasses. Bee reads every swap closely, so not one drop of nectar is missed. The bow tie. Always dressed for work. Making honey is serious business. The satchel. Where the nectar rides home. It only ever carries it in, never out. The motto: "A little from every flower." Small drops, forever, add up to a full hive.

How Bee makes honey

Flower, nectar, honey.

The Bee Hive is a Uniswap v4 hook on the ETH/$BEE pool. It does one thing, every swap, forever.

It starts when someone visits a flower: anyone buys or sells $BEE in the pool, and every swap is one flower visit. Bee carries the nectar home, taking 1% of the $BEE side of the swap, whichever way you trade. Back at the hive the nectar becomes honey, sealed in for good. Nobody can take it out, not even the deployer.

The hive

Every cell is honey Bee made.

When a cell fills up, Bee seals it and starts the next one. The comb only ever grows.

    Swap $BEE, make honey.

Trades here go through Uniswap's own Universal Router into the Bee Hive pool, so a little of every one ends up in the comb. Your price is quoted exactly by Uniswap's quoter and the swap is checked on-chain before you sign.

Bee's cut is 1%, always taken in $BEE, never ETH. Liquidity providers get the usual 0.3%. There are no owners or admin keys, and the honey stays forever.

    Questions

    Buzzing with questions?

    Where does the honey go?

Nowhere. The nectar from each swap stays inside Uniswap's PoolManager as a balance that belongs to the hook. The hook has no function that moves it out, so that $BEE is locked away for good and can never be sold.

Can anyone take the honey out, even the team?

No. The contract has no owner, no admin, no withdraw function and no upgrade path. The deployer has exactly the same powers as everyone else, which is none.

How much does a swap cost?

1% of the $BEE side goes to the hive as nectar, and the normal 0.3% pool fee goes to liquidity providers. When you buy, the nectar comes off the $BEE you receive. When you sell, it comes off the $BEE you send in. You never pay nectar in ETH.

What happens when a cell fills up?

Every 10,000 $BEE of honey seals one cell. The contract announces it on-chain, the comb on this page turns that cell gold, and Bee starts filling the next one. One big swap can seal several cells at once.

Why can't I buy an exact amount of $BEE?

Bee's nectar always comes out of the $BEE in a swap. In a "receive exactly X $BEE" swap, that exact amount is locked in before Bee can take a cut, so the hook refuses it. Choose how much ETH to spend instead; this page always swaps that way.

    Is this the real $BEE?

Not yet. This page runs on Robinhood Chain testnet with a test token that anyone can mint for free. It has no value. Use it to try the hive before the real thing.

    Has the contract been audited?

Not by an outside firm yet. It is small and tested with Foundry, including fuzz tests that check every drop of nectar lands in the hive. Please treat it as unaudited code.
